Reporting to the team leader, the role of the Web integrator is to contribute to the development and production of different Web products using normal and functionnal HTML language.
Responsibilities
- HTML integration of graphic interfaces
- Optimization for search engines
- Site maintenance and addition of new sections
- Programming of interactive elements in JavaScript to enhance the user’s experience
- Participate in the evolution of projects and contribute a technical point of view
- Participate in the evolution of methodologies, tools and codes to be used by the integration team
- Collaborate closely with the graphic and the integration teams
Technical skills
- Technical abilities including HTML code, CSS, basic JavaScript
- Knowledge of Web W3C standards
- ‘Manual’ coding (no WYSIWYG)
- Knowledge of referencing
- Knowledge of a dynamic programming language (Asset)
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (Asset)
Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in Web integration
- Knowledge of most recent Web technologies, and of technological developments
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work on several projects at once, while being able to adjust project prioritization on very short notice (skilled at time management)
- Ability to work independently on short deadlines, while being detail-conscious and having a well-developed sense of esthetics
- Proactive mindset, autonomy, team spirit, perfectionism, sense of urgency
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team in a dynamic environment
- Bilingualism (English/French)
Skills
